Katie graduated from Brown University with a B.A. in Urban Studies. She went on to pursue a career in food working in many areas of the industry -- everything from cooking on the line to managing restaurants. Katie attended the Professional Pastry Program at Tante Marie's Cooking School in San Francisco to earn her certificate as a Pastry Chef. Since becoming a Chef, Katie has been running her own pastry business and teaching. She now works with other food-business owners to help them with their ventures.
